Step 1: walkthrough and scope. Connor or a senior installer evaluates slab condition, moisture, existing coatings, drainage, and the use case the floor needs to survive. You leave with a written scope and a fixed quote, not a vague range.

Step 2: prep, grind, and repair. Diamond grinding, shot blasting, crack chase and fill, joint repair, and full moisture mitigation when the slab calls for it. Eighty percent of every coating failure traces back to bad prep, and we do not skip steps to hit a price point.

Step 3: install. The full data center flooring system is installed by Signature employees on a fixed schedule.

Step 4: final coat and walk through. Sealed, inspected, signed off, written warranty in your hand, crew off site on the day promised.

Server rooms put requirements on a floor that ordinary commercial space never sees. Static control comes first: we install ESD-rated epoxy systems with conductive media and grounding points engineered to bleed charge safely away from equipment racks, meeting the resistance ranges data-center operators specify. The dissipative topcoat is verified with meter readings at handoff, documented for your facilities file.

Dust control is the second demand. Bare or painted concrete sheds fine particulate that HVAC systems circulate straight into server intakes, and a sealed seamless floor eliminates the source. The same seamless surface simplifies the strict housekeeping regimes uptime contracts assume, damp-mop clean with no joints to harbor debris.

Load and layout realities get engineered in: rack point loads, cable-tray traffic lanes, and the rolling loads of equipment moves all sit within the compressive strength of the high-build systems we run, and containment-aisle markings can be striped into the wear coat rather than taped on top of it.

Installs coordinate with uptime: phased pours around live racks, low-odor systems chosen for occupied facilities, and cure schedules aligned to maintenance windows. The scope documents everything, because in this environment the paperwork is part of the floor.

Raised-floor plenums get their own treatment: the concrete under access flooring still sheds dust into the airflow path if left bare, and sealing it is a standard line in our data-hall scopes, low-odor, ESD-compatible, and scheduled around live operations.

Documentation is half the deliverable in this category: resistance readings at commissioning, product data for the compliance file, and a maintenance protocol that keeps the dissipative properties within spec through years of cleaning cycles.
