Countertop epoxy is a different craft from floor work, and we treat it that way. Durability questions deserve straight answers: cured countertop epoxy takes daily kitchen service, wipes sterile, and shrugs off most household chemistry, but it is not a cutting board and prolonged direct heat from a skillet will mark it. Trivets and boards are the rule, same as with most engineered surfaces. Scratches and marks that do occur can be buffed and re-topped years later without replacing the counter.
